A Dog's Tale is an allegory, or parable, on "What's Gone Wrong With Missions and Evangelism".   It's a story for grown-ups and the children who love them.  Originally made with children in mind, but all the proof-readers said, "No - while the children will love the story - it's meaning is incredibly insightful for adults and the church.  It provides a new perspective and offers a positive alternative when thinking about the way we usually go about evangelism and missions!"

It's a much-needed message for the modern church.  Far too often, we invite people to Christ on the basis of how he will save them and bless them and then we're disappointed that they don't fall in love with God.  May there's a better way... and this story points the way.
